Welllll, Tory tagged me and I haven't written anything since March.. So here we go!

8 things regarding myself:

1. I'm scared to death for college. I can't describe how out of place and scared I feel: I don't know what to major in, I feel like everyone else is a thousand times smarter than I am, and I simply don't know what to do with the rest of my life. I'm guessing this is what a lot of kids my age probably feel right now XD.

2. Did I mention I'm living at home first semester?? Woooohhh, all the makings for the worst college experience everrr!

3. I desperately hope midterms won't cut into my concerts XD. MY FAVORITE ARTIST EVER EVER EVERRRR ON THE FACE OF THIS EARTH is playing sometime in November, in a venue that's ridiculously hard to get to.. And there are like 6 shows in October/November that I want to see..

4. I really like this band called Steel Train . A far cry from my usual musical preference, some of their stuff borders on folk/bluegrass (earlier records moreso).

These songs, with the help of The Academy Is's new "Fast Times at Barrington High" are making me feel ridiculously sentimental about the good ol' days.
"When I was eighteen, everything was alive......."
Fast times at ------ High! It hasn't really sunk in until now; a person's physical absence makes it hard to forget that times are a changin' .
It's impossible not to feel happy (or at least content) listening to Steel Train .

5. I do NOT want to major in mollecular cell biology!

6. Although I am very comfortable with who I am right now, I'm just worried about making the right choices.. Will I actually make an effort to make friends in college, or will I resign myself to a hermit-like existence? Will I make the right choice for a major? Or will I follow the right career path?

7. I haven't touched a musical instrument in literally months (to be fair, my room is being remodeled and I was on vacation for a while).. And I don't know if I'll continue! I spent 6 years with the harp, but I never gave it more than a half-assed effort.

8. AHHHHH, UC Berkeley starts on Wednesday!
